In the midst of Dead Pool 2006 cramming, sad news that “Fred the Baker” from the Dunkin Donuts commercials died on Saturday.

Frankly, I’m a little surprised he’s been around this long, and a little disappointed that he didn’t just have a brief scare that led to an imminent death in the early weeks of 2006. Them’s easy pickins!!!

As for the actual Dead Pool roster, it’s looking decent, and is set to be entered by the end of the week. You know, because I kind of have to. Nevertheless, I’ll be accepting nominations and ideas until Friday or so. Private contributions are the best, especially if you find someone nice and obscure, preferably with a rapidly dropping core body temperature.
