All in the name of progress

I recently wrapped up, for the most part, two semi-major projects, both of which I think came out looking pretty good. So, in the interest of pimping the work of others, allow me to pat myself on the back a little.

Apparently, I’m making quite the name for myself in the world of college basketball book websites. First, it was working on a site for Ray Mernagh’s book about MAC hoops “1 Chance 2 Dance” (hoopwise.com), and Ray in turn suggested me to Kevin McNamara, author of a newly published book about hoops in the Big East. I was cool with how it turned out at first, but after getting a copy of the book cover and a wild idea, I really like how it finished up. The book is called “Basketball Warfare”, and you can check it out at bigeastbook.com.

Next, I finally was able to get myself around to reworking the fiancee’s site at lyndiland.com. Still a pretty simple design, but I think it looks and works a lot better than the previous version.

There is yet more in the works as I try to teach myself how PHP and databases work, but so far, they’re working really freaking cool.
