Is it “Here, clinic here!” or “Hear, recipe hear!” when you agree with something said in a large mob?
I could probably go look it up, but that one confuses me.

I’m almost certain it’s “Hear, hear.” I remember learning the origins in one of my English lit classes, but can’t remember now for the life of me. It’s a shortened version of some other phrase though… I think.

It’s “hear, hear.” It’s an affirmation that everyone hears (and presumably understands) what you just said.
