All knotted up!

It’s amazing how a three-goal lead with 13 minutes left in a Stanley Cup playoff game seems pretty insurmountable, but a 2 goal lead with 9 minutes left tenses every muscle in your body. Fortunately, a very late goal aside, the Hurricanes did a great job of holding off Buffalo, taking the play to them and playing outstanding defense to even up the series at a game apiece. Winning on the road will be no easy task, but they only need one to get home ice back.

I love the way this Canes team plays, their intensity and forecheck is very fun to watch. I just wish Kevyn Adams didn’t go to Miami(OH), cause his play has become a particular favorite, along with Ray Whitney (incidentally, both former Blue Jackets.) It sounds like Erik Cole is inching his way closer to the ice, almost to the point that he might be a “go” if the Canes advance to the Finals. What a bonus that would be for Carolina.

  1. Not to harsh your buzz or anything, but I still don’t understand how a Cleveland Browns fan can support the Whalercanes both before and after their owner ripped them out of Hartford.

  2. Hell if I know, I wonder the same thing sometimes. I think it might have to do with being much closer to the Browns as a fan, or the fact that I figured they’d get a team back eventually.

That and I could somehow tolerate living without the NFL as opposed to hockey.
