Puttin’ on the foil

Today’s wayback machine takes us to the innocent days of 1987, when hockey fights were frowned upon, but still not totally pussified. (YouTube doesn’t want to play nice, so check the link here.)

Not too hard to imagine that this one was started in part by Theo Fleury. A fine compliment to the Eastern European mayhem my brother found a couple weeks ago.(Props to EDSBS. Or at least their commenters.)

  1. 2 Best hockey I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen Bob Probert kick some ass!

The one your brother found had the best announcers ever. So boisterous, they really brought the action to you. ;)

You know, also in 1987, Frosted Flakes was very popular:

    Hey Tony
I like the things you do
    Hey Tony
If I could I would be you
You are the one and only tiger
With the one and only taste
You know how to take a breakfast
    And make it GREAT
    Frosted Flakes
    Are more than good
    They’re Gr-r-reat!
