She’s a professional!

While I have a minute (that I don’t really have), allow me to continue on my list of venues/stadiums/arenas in which I’ve seen games.

Today, the pros:

NBA Basketball

  • The Palace of Auburn Hills (Detroit)
  • Conseco Field House (Indiana)
  • (Plus an exhibition game in Toledo’s Savage Hall, which I think was Centennial Hall at the time.)

NHL Hockey

  • Nationwide Arena (Columbus)
  • United Center (Chicago)
  • Savvis Center (St. Louis)
  • Richfield Coliseum (Cleveland, part of the NHL’s “Breakaway Series” in the early ’90s.)

NFL Football

  • Cleveland Stadium (Municipal, on the field for an exhibition game, Eric Zeier threw for about 9,000 yards on the Bears.)
  • Pontiac Silverdome (Detroit)
  • RCA Dome (Indianapolis)
  • Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati)

MLS Soccer

  • Ohio Stadium (Columbus)
  • Columbus Crew Stadium (uh, Columbus)

MLB Baseball (here’s where the list gets long)

  • Cleveland Municipal Stadium
  • Jacobs Field
  • Tiger Stadium
  • Wrigley Field
  • Comiskey Park (the old one)
  • County Stadium (Milwaukee)
  • Metrodome
  • Busch Stadium
  • Whatever the hell KC’s stadium is called
  • Arlington Stadium (original)
  • Astrodome
  • Fulton-County Stadium
  • Memorial Stadium (Baltimore)
  • Exhibition Stadium (Toronto)
  • Fenway Park
  • Yankee Stadium
  • Shea Stadium
  • Olympic Stadium (Montreal)
  • Veterans Stadium
  • Three Rivers Stadium
  • PNC Park

Minor League Baseball

  • Ned Skeldon Stadium (Toledo)
  • Fifth-Third Field (Toledo)
  • Cooper Stadium (Columbus)
  • The Diamond (Richmond)
  • War Memorial Stadium (Buffalo)
  • Bush Stadium (Indianapolis)
  • Victory Field (Indianapolis)
  • The Home of the Arkansas Travelers (AA)

Again, I’m sure there are a few I’ve left out. Hell, I even had to go back and edit a couple lists because I forgot parks. Feel free to leave me a nasty comment as a reminder of how bad my memory is.

  1. Minor League Baseball? Major League Soccer?

I saw an indoor soccer game in Cleveland once. Should I add that to my list?

  2. Well, you’ve got me beat for the MLB. I’ve only been to 19 MLB sites. It looks like I have you beat in Aussie-Rules Football, though!
