Apparently they think the runaway cow is pregnant. Does the “stay of execution” apply to the unborn calf, too? Or will junior be making a trip to Ponderosa in a few years? Do cows have an ACLU to turn to for rights for it’s unborn? Is there a cattle chapter of Planned Parenthood?
This one could tie up the courts for years. (And by then, mother and calf’s meat will be way too tough and stringy to land on any dinner plate.)

The Islanders fired their coach today, just four days after a sweep at the hands of the Hurricanes. While this is not worthy of mention in itself, it’s definitely worth a reminder that the Islanders President is named Charles Wang.
