Not only have I made it to another year (apparently, I mean, if I go down in the next 11 hours and 34 minutes, I’ll know that my karma wasn’t all that afterall), but I’ve successfully posted every day this month, in one form or another. Some of the efforts were pretty weak, I’ll admit, but I made it through. Call it a new dedication to turning something out, call it crap, call it whatever, but it might be the first personal goal I’ve achieved in months. What a sad, sad life I lead, huh?
2005 has been a good time, though. Without getting too sappy, I spent some more time with some old friends, met a whole bunch of new friends (both “virtual” and otherwise), and had some great times along the way. I think 2006 looks to provide all that and more.
At least I hope it does.
There’s some stuff I hope to get accomplished in the new year, though sharing those might get dangerously close to “making resolutions”, so I’ll keep ’em to myself, I think. We’ll see what happens.
