Really, all I could have asked for is that the Browns not embarrass themselves. Unfortunately, without seeing any of the highlights, I can only assume that they did just that. On the bright side, Pittsburgh’s 41-0 waxing of the Browns today only makes me smile and remember the 1989 season opener where they beat the Steelers 51-0 in Pittsburgh (a game I apparently remember so well I had to spend 10 minutes looking up what year it happened in!).

In happier news, two-thirds of my Christmases are done, and it’s been nice so far. The only problem I’m running into now is that I haven’t yet had a chance to throw in NHL ’06 for the PS2 that I got this morning, and I really have alot of cleaning and straightening that should be done tonight before I start cracking into an NHL season.

Bet ya ten bucks on what I’ll be doing tonight instead of cleaning and straightening…

The one gift so far that gets more and more solid as I think about it is the massive “tailgate care package” the girlfriend put together for me. I’ll have to get a picture of it all later, but a new cooler filled with beer and chips and a BGSU “camping chair” is a damn solid effort.
