For the first time in about four years, I went bowling last night. Actually didn’t do too bad, four games with an average of 145 or so, but right now my body is killing me. Has been all day long. It might have been walking 18 holes of mediocre golf that did it, or mixing and lifting 500 or so pounds of clay, but my body feels 31 going on 61 right about now. On one hand, it kept me from a night of potential keg initiation, but on the other hand, I was able to stay home and get some work done. Not anything major, but progress is good, and I barely had to change clothes!

I will say, however, that I’m disappointed that Pete is back at the wheel of his site, and I missed a potential opportunity to have some fun on his site at his expense, but who knows what the future may hold. I *did* get to have some fun with a column at the BG site… something I hope to do alot more of in the future.

I just realized that a paragraph and a half in, this is starting to sound alot like the “Garrison Keillor-esque” posts that I despise with every fiber of my online being, so I should stop now.

At least I got a great Simpsons line out of the way. *grin*
