Dayum, Gina!

It’s probably a bad thing that I see a hot little brunette on Wheel of Fortune, and the title line that pops into my head is courtesy of Martin Lawrence. But it works for me. She’s hot (that was an incredibly good pouty look when she landed on “Lose a Turn”, even!), and I have 21 more minutes of watching her, wondering how much she’d charge me for a vowel. Or something like that. Even better, the last puzzle was one of those that’s half a phrase, and little Gina won more money by finishing the phrase after solving the puzzle. It’s pretty fitting that after an afternoon of having Coolio’s “Fantastic Voyage” in my head, (Hey! Gina won again!), the puzzle to solve was “If you can’t stand the heat”. However I don’t think Pat OR Vanna would accept “Git yo ass out tha kitchen” as a valid response for the extra cash.

The “official” bracket for this year’s NCAA Tourney pool has been completed. I can’t say who I picked (until 12:15 on Thursday), but its not very creative. In fact, I’m doomed to fail because I don’t know that I picked ANY upsets. But it’s fine by me. The brackets have only been out for 48 hours, and if I hear another line like “you always have to pick some upsets”, or “I don’t think Tennessee-Chattanooga is strong enough at the guards to compete with (whoever the hell they play)” or “I just love that as a 4-13 matchup”, I’m gonna shove a field of 64 down someone’s throat. And it won’t be pretty.

(Gina tearing it up again! Pat has never been so happy to dish out hugs and kisses!)

Back to the tourney, ESPN.com yesterday actually used headlines referring to Wake Forest that said “Don’t sleep on Wake”, and “No cutting down the Forest”. Since when is ESPN’s headlines written by the folks at NTN bar trivia?

Finally, to the chick in Atlanta that was held hostage by that freak rapist guy last weekend… Now that you’ve come out and said you wanted to rest and have your privacy respected, I assume you won’t have a need to collect on the book deal or movie rights, right? People, even brave, heroic people, are annoying as hell.
