Public hangings, anyone?

As many of you know, I work odd hours, and get home pretty late. Not horrible, as I’m usually home by 1 a.m. or so. Tonight appeared to be more of the same, until this happened.

I’m not saying that when police find the person(s) responsible for this they’ll treat them any differently than anyone else that has rights and due process and what not, but given the chance to point them out the crowd that showed up on the scene and turn their backs for a few minutes, I think each cop, to a man, would let them have at it. What a sad, sick way to pick up a few hours of overtime.

Of course, the drive home did nothing but wake me up, so what do I do after walking through a heavy dusting of snow and into the house? I fix an overflowing bowl of ice cream.

I’m going to hibernate now.

  1. My first thought when I heard about those poor babies being shot was that the police had better put some protection on the shooters when they catch them because I can certainly see someone doing a Jack Ruby on them.

And if they do live long enough to make it to jail…..well…..the guys in there don’t tend to take kindly to baby killers.

    Sickos.
