Congrats to the Rangers’ Michael Young, the second All-Star MVP the club has had in the last three years, to go along with Hank Blalock’s game-winning homer in 2003 and some guy that won the MVP Award in 1990. I was fairly indifferent as he stepped to the plate. Of course I wanted to see a Ranger make a difference and do well in the All-Star Game, but the whole “home field advantage” idea still strikes a funky chord with me. But in the end? Good stuff.
