Tonight I learned that in the NBA, you can set a pick on someone while they run out of bounds. Well, you can’t do it, and they’ll blow a whistle, but it’s a “violation”, not a foul. How cute. The NBA has some of the most jacked up rules in pro sports. Toss that in on top of the touch fouls that get blown all game long until the last two minutes where bodies fly like a Rwandan food drop and the whistles stay silent.
I think the Cavs blew their chance tonight. Game 7 in Detroit isn’t exactly Game 5 in Detroit. Although it would be nice to see them clinch in The Palace and spray paint something silly on the scorer’s table that doesn’t involve X-ing out a number.
I also learned tonight that Rasheed’s ignorant comments come completely out of an ignorant mind. All the time he was giving the postgame interview to (Lisa Salters?), I could feel UNC’s admissions standards dropping. Detroit fans should be proud, they’ve found one of their own to represent them.
