The bets have been turned in for tomorrow’s Kentucky Derby, unless I hear otherwise from my brother, who has a knack for picking guessing the winners. With no rhyme or reason whatsoever, I’ve got Point Determined to win and Barbaro to show. To complete the trifecta guess, throw in AP Warrior. (Although, I don’t exactly remember who my four horses were in the official guessing game at KentuckyDerby.com so I’ll just wing it there. But wouldn’t a million dollars be fun?)

Also, I noticed while researching last year’s Kentucky Derby post that I missed a very important anniversary yesterday on May 4. Sure, that Kent State thing happened, but I’m talking about one of my finest efforts since I started this thing nearly three years ago.
