If this went through, I’d be in a pretty weird situation. I don’t have any ties to the Hartford area, really, but the novelty of being a Hartford fan through the late 80’s/early 90’s was fun. And if Mario Lemieux somehow stayed involved, it would be tough to pull for them, but having a team in Hartford that would get anything it wanted from the NHL would be fantastic!

In the end, I’d probably just stick with the ‘Canes and Jackets and not wish the Pittsburgh Whalers any specific harm.
