{"id":816,"date":"2006-11-05T12:56:08","date_gmt":"2006-11-05T16:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/haveyoumettony.com\/?p=816"},"modified":"2006-11-05T12:56:08","modified_gmt":"2006-11-05T16:56:08","slug":"little-bastard-shot-me-in-the-ass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/haveyoumettony.com\/?p=816","title":{"rendered":"Little bastard shot me in the ass&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not that 85% of all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadspin.com\">Deadspin<\/a> comment threads aren&#8217;t totally worth reading, but I have a feeling <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadspin.com\/sports\/sports-on-tv\/for-your-sunday-afternoon-viewing-pleasure-212492.php\">this one<\/a> will be special.<\/p>\n<p>I was just thinking of this last night, as USA ran Blazing Saddles at 1am, virtually unedited (as far as my sleepy ears could tell, I mean, they left in the old lady dropping the &#8220;n-word&#8221;, what more could they have cut?), how this movie is slowly starting to move into &#8220;Caddyshack&#8221; territory as far as quotability. This isn&#8217;t a bad thing, as it forces one to dig deeper to find even more subtle, memorable quotes to drop at a moments notice. Unfortunately, it seems like everyone knows just enough of the common lines to drive them into a miserable death. That&#8217;s why I give major props to Deadspin weekender <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themightymjd.com\">MJD<\/a> for dropping a Number Six Dance reference in the original post.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let&#8217;s play chess!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not that 85% of all Deadspin comment threads aren&#8217;t totally worth reading, but I have a feeling this one will be special.
