In a move that can only be explained as Burger King trying to prove that “The King” isn’t<\/em> the gayest thing that could be put on television, they now have a spot running with a bunch of “men” singing and prancing around town about their new “Texas Double Whopper”, a burger with (obviously) twice as much “beef” as the original Whopper, and some Texas-y type things like jalapenos. Unfortunately, my TiVo doesn’t play sound when slowing video down, or I could confirm that hidden in the lyrics of the jingle was the line “we all had nasty sex with each other and it made us hungry for BK”. They could have made a commercial with The King lining up and nailing every Playmate from the last 20 years (and Miss August ’94 twice), and it wouldn’t have done more to prove his “less-gayness” more than this ad.<\/p>\n

The topper? The large banner that unfurls from an apartment window that reads, “EAT THIS MEAT”.<\/p>\n

What’s the matter, BK? Weren’t The Village People available?<\/p>\n

To guy this post up a little bit, check out the trailer for Artie Lange’s new movie “Beer League”<\/a>. If history has told us anything, it’s that this movie could very well be 100-million times worse than the trailer leads us to believe. But I think I’m willing to take that chance.<\/p>\n
