While the past two weeks have been filled with “George Mason Mania”, and former Bowling Green coach Jim Larranaga is at the forefront. Alot has been said praising him, and I’m sure I’ve made comments here that I can’t remember at this time, but I’m happy to see him doing well, and representing “the mid-majors” so well. It just looks like he’s having a blast with every passing game.<\/p>\n

Also, the man who was the hockey coach at BG while I was in school, Jerry York, is in the NCAA Frozen Four with Boston College this year. A win would be York’s third, including the one he won at BG in 1984, but this one might be the most special, as he spent this past summer fighting off cancer.<\/p>\n
