The fact that he was on their pre-game show this morning, two days after being tagged with <a href=http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/sports\/football\/nfl\/2005-11-27-irvin-drug-charge_x.htm\">misdemeanor drug charges<\/a> is remarkable.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, the whole &#8220;misdemeanor&#8221; thing probably means that they just found a bong or a funny-smelling baggie in his car, rather than a rolling meth lab or something, but for an organization like ESPN, which HAS to know that children have to make up a decent portion of it&#8217;s audience to look the other way long enough to &#8220;examine the evidence presented&#8221; and get their show on the air with a full crew is a joke. Regardless of the severity, there better be a REALLY good explanation from Bristol if that clown stays on the air.<\/p>\n<p>Just reason #44,982 why ESPN is full of shit.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, in housekeeping news, I have a home computer again, the Browns looked SOOOO piss poor from what I heard\/saw, and while the BG-UT game was a doozy, and I realized that none of my superstitions mean jackshit when it comes to that team winning or losing, I&#8217;m horribly disappointed that we couldn&#8217;t pull that game out. The defense picked the wrong time to play like it had been all season long.
