Went to the Pacers’ game last night, and had a good time, though for as many times as they reminded us that Reggie Miller picked out the soundtrack for the night’s game, they sure did play an awful lot of Michael Jackson. I guess that lends a whole new meaning to “Reggie was always doing something for the kids”. Hmmm… It was a good night, though, and it reminded me why its really not that hard of a move to root for the hometown teams here. Aside from a few fools here and there, most of the pro athletes in this town seem pretty level-headed. Then again, they haven’t won anything in… ever. But then again, neither has any team I’ve ever rooted for, really.<\/p>\n
As usual, there was more. And as usual, the effects of my participation in the Tuskeegee Experiments forbid me to remember what it was. <\/p>\n
