{"id":222,"date":"2004-09-22T12:26:32","date_gmt":"2004-09-22T16:26:32","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=222"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"yes-they-call-him-the-streak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/haveyoumettony.com\/?p=222","title":{"rendered":"yes they call him The Streak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;m kicking myself for not copying this down, but somehow I had a conversation with <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.thejamootz.com\">Dan<\/a> earlier that involved the names Cat, Ray and Kevin Stevens, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Reggie Jackson (and later Reggie Rutland), Christopher Reeve, Kris Kross (not to be confused with Christopher Cross, but he was involved, too), Funky Winkerbean, Cathy Dennis and Oil Can Boyd, to name a few. It amazed me that knowledge of these people, Google-aided or not, takes up such a prominent part of my brain. I&#8217;m also positive that everything I learned in that Poli Sci class at BG is now gone. (I got a D- in that class, so there wasn&#8217;t much knowledge to be pushed out, fortunately.)<\/p>\n<p>******<br \/>Week 2 of the &#8220;Battle of the Network Stars&#8221; also known as &#8220;Tony and Pete&#8217;s NFL Bitchslapfest&#8221; again goes to <a href=\"http:\/\/site.angrypete.net\">Pete<\/a>, but again only by 1 game. He now leads the series 2-0, but the total by 2 games. Its going to be the most hotly contested contest of the fall, stay tuned or join in.<\/p>\n<p>******<br \/>Okay, I just noticed that Blogger jacked up my time settings again. Doesn&#8217;t it know that I&#8217;m in the land that time forgot?
